DeskCNC can acquire images from camera, scanner or files (with
thumbnail browsing). It includes a powerful set of image editing
tools for contrast, brightness, color mixture, cropping, resizing,
and special effects filters. Images can be zoomed and panned, and
sections can be cut for further processing. Negative images can be
created. Edited images can be saved for future re-use.

The output can be precisely scaled and rotated. The cutting
strategies include simple 2D tracing or complex 3D surface machining,
including multiple passes and tool geometries. The toolpaths are
visualized in both a 3D wireframe view and a 3D full shaded rendering
of the toolpath, based on the shape of tool selected.

DeskCNC also includes many additional CAM capabilites such as
pocketing, contouring, and drilling of DXF files, 3D surface
machining of .stl files, PCB trace routing and drilling. $250, 30
