hello all,
i just finally got my drive wired up and bench tested. thanks for all
the great info from all of you!! it works great. i still have a lot
to do before i'm done, but i'm excited. i used the
jerry'spowersupply.pdf file(located in fils/circuits/power supplies
on this group) and used drives from rutex r990h,r990io and r990mb.
just added a 10k 5 watt resistor across the capacitor. otherwise my
system is wired just the same. now i'm on to looking for toolchanger
information. i have a spindle wizard (shizuoka)knee mill with 24
tool toolchanger. the toolchanger was originally controlled by the
bandit cotroller as was the axis motion. is there a step and
direction base software that can control the toolchanger as well?
i've heard people reference plcs - but i don't know much about them
yet.. i'm learning.
