5 axis mill post processor

I am going to upgrade to VM5 and was dreaming about 5 axis
positioning. VM5 outputs CL and you need a post processor to go from
CL to gcode. I can program and could easily translate 4 axis CL to
gcode. I don't have a clue as to how to go from there to 5 axis.
I've done googles but haven't found much. Can anyone recommend any
references or point me to any samples or prior work that might make
this process a little more understandable?
