I have 5 stepper motors that came off my SHIZUOKA mill
with no electronics. The nameplate on the machine was
Autonumerics Positool Model S-2. I need to identify
the stepper motors 4 look like NEMA 42 and 1 NEMA 34,
from the online research I have done, looks like a
Superior motor. No nameplates or stickers, just 8
wires out of motors. How can I identify the types of
motors, wiring, voltage and amperage? I need to make
sure I am installing the right componets and not
create any smoke bombs on the expensive electronics.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thank you,
Ron Petersen
