Questions about xy slides

All,

Where can I get an xy linear actuator with mounts for a 23 stepper
motor. I am trying to automate a panagraph machine and I need a 18"
X travel and 12" Y travel. I have looked at the Parker slides but
they are over $1,000. Any suggestions where a cost effective linear
slide can be purchased would be great. I haven't purchased the
stepper motors yet so I guess I can buy the slide and motors as a
package deal.
