Hey James,

I was also wondering about the lull on the list. I have been busy writing my
own programming for an optical tach using a multiplexed LED display.
Everything is done except for developing a decent algorithm to convert the
microseconds between pulses to RPM. I know, It would be faster and if my
time is worth anything much over $0.29 per hour to just buy the kit from
Camtronics, but I am working at learning to program PIC micros and figure
this is a good project to finally build into a complete unit instead of just
an experiment. I am programming it with Micro Engineering Labs PICBasic Pro
and using a beta code editor that makes it much like using VB.

I did notice there is another CNC mailing list on onelist or Delphi that has
only had about 10 posts since it's start at the beginning of the year.
