Quasi-OT, but interesting given our focus here...

The following is a laser-based computer peripheral to do engraving,
etching and some light-duty 2D cutting. Kinda neat that its a
consumer product along the lines of a printer that will do some 2D
work... Be interesting to see where they'll be in 3-5 years!
