I don't think so! The smaller the pulley on the motor, the faster the
motor must go to move the table. The faster a stepper goes, the less
power it has. If I step REALLY slowly the motors are REALLY strong,
but they don't move far enough. By increasing the diameter of the
motor pulley I can travel the same distance at a lower RPM, which has
more torque in the stepper.
