For those of you out there wanting to build a CNC system, Andrew, I have
found a web site selling microstepping motor driver PCB's for only $10.00 a
piece. They are based on the LMD18245 3 amp bridges and a PIC16F84. This
is a great deal.

I would port the 16F84 code to a newer FLASH part like the 16F627/628


There is also a guy using the L297/L298 chip set. Why do the layout when
you don't have to!

Wayne Rademacher, from our group, also has make a stepper motor controller
based of the L297/L298 chip set.

I was heavy into this research a couple of years ago, and don't recall ever
seeing these web sites before. So I felt obligated to share them with you
guys.
