Rick,
I have been using THK rails on my Z axis only because I found a seller on
Ebay that has a supply of new in the box 400 mm long 15 mm rails at a very
good price.
I have bought about 20 of them. I only have 2 left. I will go back to the
20 mm Hiwin rails for my Z axis when this supply runs out.
There was a note on the list recently about the ceramic Pacific Bearing
rails. I have not used them.
