Long Set of Shafts for Sale in the UK - suit a new build CNC router

Hi All

I'm finally clearing out for a new workshop, and have the following set
of nice rails for sale - they have been in a very low usage
environment. They are long, but could be cut to give an X and a Y rail
set.

A pair of "Star" make 20mm dia ground steel shafts with aluminium shaft
support rails (3 per shaft @ 600mm long) and a set of four open type
aluminium sets _including_ linear open bearings. They are 2260mm long
(approx 89 inches in old money :-) . VGC - some very small surface rust
marks on the shafts. The shafts are drilled and tapped M6 to accept the
support rails.
For guidance only, the _new_ prices are around ...
6 * AL support @ 43=258, 2 Rails @ 150 = 300, 4 sets @ 75=300 total =
£858. Prices in GBP.

As a rough estimate, cutting at the interface between the supports
would offer an X axis of 1495 (approx 59 inches) and a Y of 730
millimetres (approx 29 inches).

No reasonable offer refused. Due to the size, the Post Office will not
take them (>2metres long) however, for a small fee, I could meet the
intended buyer somewhere around central Scotland. I thought I would
offer them here to "serious" users first before "punting" them on ebay
:-))

TIA

Neil
