Question on FeatureCam vs. Visual Mill functions & Usage

Well time to start looking at CAM software for my CNC Bridgeport
running on MACH2.

At various times people have recommended both FeatureCam and Visual
Mill to me. I know MasterCam seems to be the (horribly expensive)
benchmark package. Is anyone out there familiar with which one would
be best suited and how they compare to each other (and to MasterCam)?
