Well, I just noticed that the radius was smaller than the cutter, but I
didn't work
long enough to figure out whether that was an inside or outside turn.
If it is an
inside, than clearly the CNC program SHOULD have told you the tool was
too big
for that radius. EMC would have reported that as an error. If it is an
outside
turn, then I don't knw what the problem is. And, I don't know why it should
grumble when moving slowly. If your Gecko drives are tuned right (by
adjusting
the pot for minimum humming when moving slowly) they shouldn't grumble at
any speed. I certainly saw no grumbling, resonance or anything like
that when I
had Gecko 201A drives on my minimill. The quietest, smoothest stepper
system
