I think you are going way overboard on this! Do you really need to deliver
1000W continuously to the load? Do you know how much power that
REALLY IS? Unless you have a huge router with a heavy gantry, and
expect to be inlaying doors in a production shop, you do NOT need such a
huge power supply. I don't quite know what you are building, but 250 W
may be sufficient, 500 W is almost certainly enough. These unregulated
power supplies are capable of delivering momentary overloads safely.
That's what the capacitors are for, in fact! I ran a mini-mill at the last
NAMES show using my owm servo drives with a power supply that is
closer to 150 W, and it ran cool all day.
