VFD: Standard of Sensorless?

Looking to get a VFD to run the spindle motor on my Bridgeport
Series I Rigid Ram. It has a variable speed belt drive, so the VFD
will mostly just be doing the single phase to 3 phase conversion for
me. I am trying to figure out if I can use a standard VFD or if it
is worth the extra $100 to get the sensorless VFD. Basically
deciding between the Hitachi L100-015NFU and the SJ100-015NFU.
Suggestions? This will be used with EMC, so I'll be using the
digital ON/OFF inputs, not the analog speed control.
