DRO Help Needed.

I need some help designing or building a small low cost DRO project. If you
can help with design or even building it for me (I don't really have the
time to do this by myself) please reply or send me an e-mail directly. Below is
what I am looking for.

-Small stand alone DRO for a table saw.
-Display should read angle of the saw blade (encoded from the hand crank on
the side of the machine)
-Possible option for keypad with servo or stepper control for automated
angle change.

The accuracy for this needs to be minimal, if this helps keep the cost down.
I just need something that works. I am thinking along the lines of a BASIC
stamp processor (if this is even possible). I don't have the time as I said
to do the research on how to accomplish this and then to build it, and I
know there are people here that could do this sort of project in their sleep.
Any help would be appreciated.
