ProtoTrak RS232 connection

Hello,

Maybe someone out there can help me. I am trying to learn some
machining. At work I have access to older ProtoTrak Plus machine. The
manual states that I can save and recall a program from the RS232
connection on the panel. I have a cable connected. I followed the
instructions in the manual but could not get the file to be saved to
the hard drive on computer running win2k.

Any suggestions, guidance would be appreciated.
