I get file not found amd incorrect login for all the documents
linked to from the one you showed in your message. I wanted to
look at the interface circuit, but can't see it. Some encoders
require a resistor to the +5 V supply to "pull it up" to a higher
voltage when the driver is not pulling it down to ground.
