I converted my Sherline rotary table. Needs a plate under the
table to keep the NEMA23 motor clear of things.
A Sherline or Taig (with slight mods) 3 or 4-jaw chuck fits
very nicely.
Beware non-concentricity with the 3-jaw (I assume you'll adjust
the 4-jaw properly). Marcus uses a hold-down arrangement to
place the chuck so that the work is perfectly centered.
I use mine for cutting clock wheels and pinions, and for engraving
initials into the ends of my nifty brass cribbage pegs.
