Sure can. By using surplus motors and some frugality. A retrofit within a $2k budget is very do-able. What shoots your funds is all the nickle and dime stuff. like Estop switches , relays, wire, fuseblocks, cooling fans etc. All of those items can be found on Ebay or at an electronics surplus place. You could also try the maintanence dept at work when they are at lunch?? :-)
