EDM Software - maybe Mach3...

Art Fenerty mentioned a "retrace your steps" possibility for Mach3,
to which I responded that it might be very useful for EDM. Don't
know much about how REAL EDM algorithms work, but it struck me that
backtracking on a current or voltage "event" such as nearing some
threshold, might be a way to maximize feedrates...
WRT the plans sold by Camtronics, I spent my money but lost interest
when the author told me that the wire edm speed thru a 1/8 inch
material might be "hours per inch".
I thought that Mr. Langlois was coming out with a new and wonderful
sparker design, once the HSM series was done....?? / mark
