Hi,
Went to Eastec today, and saw lots of nice goodies (Including the fact
that Southbend is now making the Heavy 10 Manual lathe in the US again, and
had a show special for $10k)

I ran into Ron Ginger in the LightMachines booth, where I was lusting over
the Benchman XT. Nice little box doing some real fancy stuff. According
to the sales guy, they start at $30k, and the one we saw had a tool changer.

What I can't understand about that is how they expect to sell any. Haas is
selling their "Mini Mill", with a Cat 40 taper spindle, and a 10 tool
changer for 30k too.

I don't think I'd call it a Home CNC setup, it it's interesting to see that
the price is the same
