Here is a better way to figure it.
Your spur gear is a module 1.5 with 24 teeth. From the gear book that would
have a 36MM PD and a 39MM od.
First convert the metric PD to imperial or 36mm/ 25.4=1.4173 is the pitch
diameter in imperial that time pi =4.45265" per rev of the pinion. Next take
4.45265 and divide by 2000 ( 200 steps X10)=.00226326 per step
Then 1"/.00226326=441.8405309 steps per inch so set your steps per unit to
this value
For mach 2 velocity I would start with 50 and work up as you know you
machine is running properly. That will give you 50 IPM but probaly will end
up wanting 200 to 300 depending if it is a router or a plasma cutter.
For mach2 set acceleration to 10 and work up both the velocity and
acceleration for best performance
set the minimum pulse width to 5 and set the direction precharge to 10 for
the G210
