Hi Halfnutz,
make sure the bios in the computer is set up for bi directional parallel port
communication. There are three LPT standards EPP, ECP , and ?.
I had the same problem with CNC pro and ended up using a different computer
because the mill was unable to communicate the home / limit switch actions
back to the computer, even though the bios had been set to the correct
protocol. I spent a month trying to figure it out, but the mill was running
perfectly as planned on a laptop in a couple minutes after I switched
computers.
