Grinding spindle Design

Hi could anyone point me towards a good technical manual for the
design and assembly of grinding spindles. The spindle that I want to
build will be used to drive a cup wheel therefore I expect that the
design will have to withstand more axial force than a cylindrical
application and will have to have taper roller bearings however I have
no idea regarding how to size the components.
