I have a Pentium 133 with the May 5, 2000 version of EMC installed on Redhat
5.2 that I am considering selling. Specs are as follows:
24 mb RAM
8X CD
2 parallel ports
850 mb hard drive
Old AT style desktop case

Linux configuration:
set to boot straight to Xwindows
Short cuts to start EMC from any directory
set to use a generic multisync monitor and a logitec 3 button PS2 mouse
(these items are not included)
Configured for TCP/IP networking with IP addresses assigned from a DHCP
server and SAMBA file sharing is enabled with security handled by an NT
domain controller. If network connectivity is desired the 3COM 905-b TX
10/100 network card can de part of the deal and I would reconfigure the
networking as desired by the buyer.
Emc is set to use the bridgeportio program so various items (coolant, mist,
brake) can be controlled from the 2nd parallel port
Run and configuration files setup for both steppermot and freqmot

If someone is serious about running EMC using the freqmot controller (better
maximum feeds than steppermot) this machine is very marginal on speed. If
you use the steppermot controller this machine performs very well. If
someone wanted to upgrade they could replace the motherboard and CPU and as
long as they use the same hard drive, amount of memory, video card, and
mouse they would not have to do any messing with Linux.

This is a great opportunity for someone that wants to get started with EMC
but has been scared off by the daunting task of getting Linux, the real time
kernel, and EMC installed.

Contact me off list for price and any other questions.
