There are some really high-spec NEMA32 (and 23) motors out there, and
I'm curious about the torque / inductance issues at speed for these.
A 10-year old cnc router typically has 200-400 oz-in NEMA34s.
Can we get better performance by using, say, a 1000-1200 oz-in
motor in the same application (current, voltage the same) or is it
a "self-eating watermelon" - inductance is much higher, thus limiting
speed? (I guess this boils down to motor efficiency, no?)
thanks /mark
