I have 2 large transformers for sale. If you are interested in either
one, REPLY OFF LIST TO wscalione at nc dot rr dot com
I don't know what the VA rating of these are, but they are big and will
probably supply enough current for most any DIY CNC project with lots
left over. They are removed from equipment but in very good condition
and tested as shown in the descriptions below.
Transformer #1
Weight 19 pounds
5.375" long
6.5" High
5" wide
lamination thickness = 1 5/8"
Two primaries
Center Tapped Output
With primary # 1 hooked to 120VAC
50VAC Out / 25VAC CT
With primary # 2 hooked to 120VAC
100VAC Out / 50VAC CT
If you use the 50V out that will give you about 70VDC after rectification
$40.00 plus actual shipping charges from 27511
Transformer #2
Weight 14 pounds
5.75" long
4.25 High
4.25" wide
lamination thickness = 1 5/8"
Two primaries
Two Secondaries
With primary # 1 hooked to 120VAC
each secondary puts out 38VAC so in parallel that's 38V and in series it
will be 76VAC
Have not checked the other primary, but it is probably a 220V input and
will cut the outputs in half
If you use the 38V out that will give you about 50VDC after rectification
$40.00 plus actual shipping charges from 27511
