Locking Puzzle Joints for Scarfing Plywood on a CNC Router

Not sure if this is the right group for this question - let me know if
there is a more appropriate place.
I am interested in using my Rhino CAD software to layout locking
puzzle joints to scarf long plywood panels together - after being cut
on a CNC router. Does anyone have any insight into doing this? It is
fairly easy to set up a basic joint but I'm stuck on providing
clearance for the joint. I would expect I need to make one side of the
joint .001" or .002" smaller for a fairly tight push fit. Right? Is
there a way to do this kind of scaling in Rhino?
Thanks for any help.
