A long loong loooong time ago I did service work on bandits in our
plant. One thing not to underestimate as a potential issue is the
keyboard assembly. Failure of the start pushbutton in the upper left
hand corner can lead to strange behaviour of the controller. Once I
learned that bit of infor I could save the company a lot of money by
changing out a $7 switch in a few minutes. Back then I believe a
keyboard repair cost between $250 and $300 an due to manual operation of
the controller that was a signiifcant expense.

I wish now that I had saved some of the documentation. Or for that
matter some of the hardware. Didn't think at the time that I even had
an interest.
