  Hi all,
Finished the patterns this morning. Cast this evening. Now I need to mill
out the filets so the drawer slide will fit in the channel. Then drill and
tap the clamp bolts and finally bore out the hole to fit the 1.5" pipe.
After that some all-thread for a leadscrew and I should have a working Z
Axis.

Not as fast or as easy as molding plastic but there's a certain satisfaction
in melting metal. Next photo posting will show the assembled unit.
