The first thing that comes to mind is the conversion of what and what
sort of spindle speed are you talking about.

True high speed use of bearings on machine tools has relied on spindle
oils not grease. Sometimes that oil is supplied in a mist. At
least that has been the case in the past. Also really fast spindles
are air bearings which of course use no lubrication.

Admittedly much has changed in the last few years with respect to
greases an other lubricants for spindle bearings. Krytox being the
lubricant that most likely has the most to offer.

If you need specalty lubricants try Nye's web site. They manufacture a
number of high quality lubes.
