There are a few DLL's out there on the web that perform IN() and OUT()
functions as well as PEEK() and POKE() for VB. I downloaded one about two
years ago, but can't say much since I never got around to using it. Do a
search for VB DLL's with the function name and you will probably score.

Another option is Power Basic. It is an old fashioned (meaning well
written) compiler for writing DLL's. Search Power Basic and you should find
it. Was about $60 last I looked.
