Isopro software has a hardware lock. it uses a dongle on the parallel
port of the computer.

If you are the registered owner of the software, call T-Tech and you
can buy a second seat. They will check the serial # and your registration.

They track all e-bay sales and request and file the serial numbers to
keep track of who sells them and even who buys them.

A new liscensed copy is about $900.00 although they will discount if
you are a customer.

I am not sure if anyone has figured a way to run their machines
without their software.

I should note that without the key, you cannot run the isolation of a
board, but you can run the machine from a g-code.

Also, dxf import is an additional software lisecense fee.

If buying from e-bay, the sales price reflects the software.

Also, any attempt to attain software illegally is not only against the
list policy, but subject to sever reprisals from T-Tech. Like
AutoDesk, they go after bootleg copies, and their software initializes
and sends an update to the t-tech site when it is run.

Just a friendly warning.

I have no data on the KAVO stuff.
