Gentlemen,
I am starting my second prototype of a gear head. The first series is for R-8 mills.
What I need to know is want kind of nightmare is it going to be to make the programing changes in Mach?
The first prototype was a manually adjustable A and B axis. This was to see how ridged it was. It handled a 2", 7 insert, face milling cutter at 40ipm, at a depth of 3/16"
The task at hand is to figure out how to attach a swing and tilt motor to it that are strongh enough.
I will keep the group informed as I tackle this dilemma.

I noticed the table size on the subject line after I hit enter.
The idea still applies. mount a rotary table on the cross slide and a
smaller one on that.
