I have a Renishaw probe and asked a while back about interfacing to
it, someone who works for Renishaw replied so it may be worth
searching if you have PGoffline.
One thing I do remember is that the contacts are designed for
dimensional stability as well as hardness and precision not for a good
electrical contact. I seem to remember that Kohms were expected.
