Hi, i ran an engraving the other day of a steam train, 3x4 inch size, with
.005 stepover and .005 tipped taper single lip cutter in hardwood. it took
23 hours to complete but the resolution is very high. i havent done any work
engraving with ball tips(used plenty in machine shop).
my machine is slow and steady, can work all night while i do other things
like sleeping. raster cutting is slow but it works. thanks, brian f.
