If you are looking to do a edm i suggest Hymark digital tape scale and the
resolution can be good enough for anything that you want to do and doesn't
care about dirt and any other type of contamination. The scale also puts
out differential outputs so you have a better noise free feedback. Let me
know the sizes that you need and I will get you a great price. Just
remember glass scales unless you pay more money are only good to about +/-
.0005 resolution.
