I am working on that now. I have played with deskncrt quite a bit now and
haven given feedback to Carken, we are making real progress. The last
problem was with the abort cycle. He has send me an updated version with a
fix. I hope to test it today. The only other thing he really needs to do is
to rework the manual explaining the setups or concepts for setting "ferror"
the PID settings and some other items.
I am looking for encoders that will fit dual shafted stepper motors. I have
a low cost solution for nema23 dual shaft motors but it looks like it will
be more for the 3/8" dual shaft nema34 motors. But between deskncrt and the
steppers with encoders it is running like a servo system. That is slick.
