I hasve a D&M 6 milling machine for sale.
This machine has everythign built into the back so a clever guy could
use MACH3 and probaly get it runing in one day.
I tried building my own machines and am not cut out for it so am
selling off the parts and extra machines and going back to making the
parts I want to make.
Here is a photo of similar machine. IT is the second one down the D&M6
http://www.desktopcnc.com/out_of_prod/old_labvolt.htm
The machine is sitting in Minneapolis. It is yours for $2500.00
We don't even want to talk about how mch I sepnt getting it here and
then there ( Alaska)
But time moves on and this is the best benchtop Mill out there I know
of for serious milling
Al Cast Iron, V ways,5/8"ball screws size 42 motors.Probaly weighs
400 pounds, (okay maybe 325, but lifting it by myself was no FUN)
Theoretically it can run as it sits, but I never wa able to get it to.
IT has built in parralel ports, steper drives, toroidal power supply
spindel drive, heat sinks,These are industrial machines in a sma size.
NOT THE SHERLINE version, this is serious iron.
LEt me know soon as it is going.
I also have a F-1 EMCO Maier with an AHHA conversion palcage by
Grifftek of Downey California. Probaly one of the best part time
machine rebuilders out there, Bil's stuff is first class and it works!
Now we are using two light machines Mil and lAthe so I am tool poor.
This machine with the 8-10 tool holders, vice, control and computer
cost me over $5000. I will sel it for $4000 and delvier it to the
anchorage Dock Crated for Free.
IT will get to Seattle for about $100 and then you are on your won
Here are pictures of same machine conversion by Bill that works
everyday! http://www.grifftek.com/corona.htm
I have some other items, drive boxes etc Iwill be selling soon
I prefer to let them onhere than EBay, The listing fee I spend there
is worth shaving the price a little here and you guys know what you
want, what the stuff is worth and it is just easier.
Thanks,Please only write if you are serious, I try to avoid stting in
fron t of this thing and it is going to tkae al my energy to answer
tyhe questtions from serious buyers.
Not trying to take advantage of the list, but I now this is where
people are looking for machining answers.
Here are two machiens that wil get you machining!
