Smallest Power supply??

I might just make two boxes, one with switching power supply that I have,
inside of it, and power cable to the Drive Box. This would also make the
power supply available for other uses also. Even have some surplus meters I
could install in it. The surplus place has more of these cabinets at only $10
with a nice ammeter on the front.
Another source of cheap large cases is the old desk top computer cases, or
even the mini, and tower types. Use the supply for fan and low voltage
sources.
Also, I am fortunate here in Albuquerque, we still have some real surplus
electronic parts places, and with the USAF base, Sandia Labs, Los Alamos, the
stuff seems to be endless.
But, you must remember my shop started off as a 50's style single car
garage................. Now is just paths like the letter E laying down, long side
in front of the bench, the legs to lathe, mill. and parts storage.
