Can you help some kids with disabilities or handicaps
Hi all,
I am normally a forum lurker but I am posting this in the hope that
members may help out some special kids. I truly hope you don'r regard
this post as spamming as it is a good cause and I don't want to upset
fellow forum members.
I have donated a framed picture as a charity fundraise and put it on
Ebay.
The winner can choose from a selection of pictures.
Please help these kids and make a bid.
The full story : This auction came about after the following message
was posted in another (woodworking) forum.
"My wife and I have a son who has Down Syndrome.
He goes to a special school here in Adelaide (which is downunder in
Australia)
His school teacher has asked me to help with some fund raising so we
can get some stuff for the gym. They currently have three parts of
nothing, so they need to raise some funds.
My Idea is would any of my fellow Forum members be willing to make a
few pens to donate to the kids so that they could be sold to raise
funds to buy some gym gear for these very special needs Kids?
I will make some pens but if I made 30 pens and we got $20 each for
them as a fund raiser that would only buy one exersise bike, and we
need a bit more than on bike
So there you have it would any of you kind folk like to help out some
disabled Kids?

So my wife and I offered a framed Limited Edition Giclee Picture to
help the kids with disabilities.
Other woodies have made handcrafted pens and other things
A woodturner has made a beautiful one of a kind bowl.
Everyone is trying to help.
So put your hands deep in your pockets for these kids with
disabilities and make an extravagant bid.
I make another offer.
If the bid price for the picture exceeds $1000 we will close the
edition run so there will only be about 5 (of this particular image)
in existence. (we usually offer LE runs of only 100 pictures)
This is a RARE OPPORTUNITY to give and recieve
