Now This is just funny!!! You think USB is the standard?

Your highest quality printers EVER developed plugged into the parallel port (printer port) and then migrated to TCP/IP (ethernet) after 3 or 4 generations. Now, it is true that most modern(cheap) printers do plug into the USB. Just because the manufacturing sector declares that it is better does not make it better. Stand firm buy motherboards that have printer ports and serial ports(yes they are fading also). The consumer can drive the market!! Look at wireless printers are they better? They are a current thrust. There is no reason to have a wireless printer. You dont move a printer all over the building. You set it and forget it. The wireless lets them charge an extra $150-$200. And they are crap!!
