A student hopes to purchase some motion control items
such as lead/ball screws, motors servo or otherwise,
and fabricate a xy-table to connect to a computer for
control of a Dremel handtool for engraving and
simulation for milling, She has used the Flashcutcnc
software and is familiar with Autocad. She has not
really tried other softwares such as Bobcad as it seem
more complicated (new learner) but find Flashcut easy
to use with dxf file import, and hopes to fabricate
the x-y table and connect it to a software such as
Flashcutcnc (the xy dimensions for the Sherline mill
is too small). Anybody can offer comments,
suggestions, useful lead, etc? Thanks.
