Bridgeport Toruq Cut 22

Hello, I am a Student at the Tennessee Techcnology Center in Crump
Tennessee,Machine Tool Technology program. We have a 1996 toruq cut 22
with a DX 32 system runnung BOSS8 software, (machine looks exactly like
the new Romi machines to which BP sold a bunch of it's pattents. We
want to connect the machine to a windose computer system so we can
operate it with Mach 3 it has several ports one is labled LPT-1 and is
a 25 pin DB and there is another 25 pin port labled A and also a 9 pin
serial port Does any one here have any advice or experience with a
similar hook up, The LPT has a ribbon connector the A port is wired and
I didn't really didn't notice the configueration of the 9 pin serial,
We have a Very tight budget and I'm donating a computer to the cause.
If possible I would like to erase some of the Dinosaure foot prints
from it. while not on par with a Morie Seki or Haas or EZ track. For
our school and to get kids programing CNC it's more than asdequate. mor
so than the Anilame/ Damilam GARBAGE that passes for our other CNC
(it's more like SNM)
