Unimatic Educam Protocol??

Hi,
Im trying to get our Unimatic Educam 44 up and running under EMC2 in
Linux. As the Educam uses a serial port and EMC2 is not designed for
it were going to have to write a driver.
So if anybody knows the protocol which the machine and pc use to
communicate it would help us out a great deal, or if anyone could
point us in the right direction that would be great!
