ACU-RITE III DRO

I am a new hobby member restoring a bridgeport J head in the UK. It
has a two axis ACU-RITE III DRO dated 09 22 89. The DRO is not
working properly and I found the ribbon cable from the key pad is
damaged with many of the tracks broken. The second smaller ribbon
cable is ok.I belive, but cannot prove, the circuit board is
otherwise OK. Can any one tell me the pin out of of the tracks in
the key pad ribbon relating the key pad function to the soldered
connection positon on the circuit board. Is one of the tracks a
common return for all the functions? A full schematic would help but
I dont really need that, just the cable connections. A hand sketch
would be fine. I hope to either bridge the faults or possibly graft
on a new key pad from a calculator or similar.
I also have a faulty read heads on both the scales with some of the
fine
soldered connections broken. Can any one send me a sketch showing
the correct pin out of the various coloured wires relative to the
termination on the read head mini circuit board. This is going to
be a fiddly job but worth it as I cannot afford the cost of a new
DRO. If sucessful I will publish the results. I would also be
grateful for any manual on how to use this DRO as it does not match
the type shown in my Bridgeport manual. Ideally sent as a scanned
image but I will pay postage if is copied and sent by post to the UK
