Tim:
You don't happen to have a spam filter that's catching some of the
messages? My spam filter catches a few from time to time. And I keep my
spam filter quite "loose" to make sure I don't miss anything important.

Nathan,
Thanks for the reply, but I don't think this is the true problem fro a
number of reasons:
1 - I am getting some messages, but not others. If I look at the
chronology
of the messages in the web interface I see that it is random messages I
am
missing, not all messages after a certain point.
2 - There are other people having the exact same problem on the list.
3 - This does not address why a message I send does not post and then a
later one does.
All of this is without my going into the profiles and resetting my
status. I
am aware of this procedure and I have been looking at it. I have seen
the
bounces listed on your site, but my status has not been set to
"bouncing"
during the duration of this problem. If it was why do I still receive
some
messages?
I would appreciate it if you would do some further digging.
I am posting this to the group in question as there are others that
would
like to understand the problem that is occurring also.

Thank you for contacting eGroups Customer Support.
Your eGroups account was set to "Bouncing" status because multiple
messages
sent to your email address were returned to us as undeliverable. This
can
happen for several reasons:
- Your mailbox is full or disabled
- Problems at your Internet Service Provider (ISP)
- Temporary Internet problems
Once your account is set to bouncing status, we will stop attempting to
deliver messages to you. To resume message delivery, your account must
be
reset to normal status.
Your account has been reset to normal status. If your mailbox is working
and
there are no problems with your ISP, you should start receiving messages
again.
If this problem happens again, you can reset your account by logging on
to
the My Groups page and clicking the link next to "Bouncing" status:
http://www.egroups.com/mygroups
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Have a great day and thanks for using eGroups.

I receive the CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO group as individual e-mails. Starting
recently
I am only receiving the posts sporadically. When I look at the messages
on
the website I see ones that I have never received via e-mail and if I
look
at the bounce info on my profile it does not correspond to the missing
messages. There are other people on the list that have mentioned having
the
same problem.
