Lindsay's "free" software (was mouse as a dro?(stupid idea?))

One minor clarification:

I am also using Steve's software with my home-made DRO. It saved me a bunch
of money and Steve answered many questions while I was learning and trying
to get it set up on my computer. After I got it running, I sent in a $$
contribution (this is part of the gentlemen's agreement I think when you
download the software); it was the least I could do. The sad part is that
Steve said I was the first one to ever send any money.

My point is that if you get something useful, it would be nice to contribute
to the author's efforts.
