Thanks... that first link is nice.. I just wish I could find the docs for that chip... google-ing didn't find anything.. I should be able to determine power and ground by looking at the circuit board, etc.. but as to the signal... it may be harder to figure out... could be drivers, could be OC, etc. oh well, if I burn this one up, I can buy something else.
